Yess finally did it...supercharged....car feeels great...this weekend was reallly hot in NYC but the car still pulled hard.
install wasnt hard at all once you are organized and have all of your parts together and a kick ass mechanic to assist.
we knocked it out in about 4 hours and the job is much easier with the hood off.
i used my injen CAI i cut the curve off and cut the mounting bracket and my boy took it to his shop and welded it....looks like a nice CAI for the SC
the whine is crazyyyyyyy you dont hear Vtec or intake anymore just the whine and pull.....on the highway cruising and just drop it in 3rd and it takes off like a bullet.
quesiton is does the ECU still need time to adjust to this blower, i know the ESM blocks the boost signal.
can this car be tuned without a e manage? can they plug into the ODB and modufy air anf fuel ratios

yup 5AT under normal dirving conditions it shift regular and u cant tell the car is supercharged..even at idle...then when u give it a little more gas to 3k rpm and above...WOWOW pulls u back.

tranny will die not matter what lol....so instead of being scared of things just do it....thats the way i looked at it..no vids or pics yet....gonna take some pics tonight and put them up...

congrats. next time Im in NYC ill look u up. I was just there last weekend in Westchester chillin with sum tri state vip folks. But the SC is great and i have the custom CAI with mine too. I was kinda dissappointed that the vtec roar was gone but the whine is VERY addicting. Im in the process of a 6spd swap right now so the blower is off but congrats to you. Also i noticed my tranny shifted alot smoother after prolonged driving after i put the tranny cooler in. Just something to think about. Good luck and happy boosting!

yeah i got to get the tranny cooler soon...i mean i drive the car once or twice a week....and i dont floor it all the time so it should be good for now

okay...u may wana be careful going into boost without having those thngs to look at. The FPR needs to be set at a certian PSI when idle and during boost, also u wana make sure ur not running too rich or leaning out so that you dont get knock or detonation. I'm in the process of fiberglassing some universal pods onto my steering column. I put my fuel pressure gauge under the hood tho, right next to the FPR.

yea its supposed to be set to the correct PSI but sometimes ppl tamper with it and it isnt set correctly. If you arent throwing any CEL's more than likely its set up correctly. Mine was not set to the correct PSI and at boost i was coming up with a 10:1 AFR which is stupid rich.

Buy the Boomslang harness to make the emanage plug and play

yeah man its realllly nice...cant wait to feel the pull with the high boost pulley....should be even better. we all should organize a mini meet by cunningham or some soem other park....
gas miles is about the same....when u drive normal it doesnt feel supercharged under 2.5 rpm.....when u go past that the whine kicks in and ur off....when ur on the highway at 80 the car is coasting a little above 2 rpm...only when u give it more gas pass that the charger kicks in....

THat is awesome, regarding to a shop. You may consider RPM. Website, http://www.rpmnyc.com/. They use to do my Civic, they are awesome..if you go in there ask for tim.

yeah i got to call up rpm and find out and call up some diffrent places to see prices....nrg wanted to much.
i am gonna install the emanage with the boomslang and the high boost pulley...this should make this car and even more beast than what it is now....
