No drilling required. There's two small brackets that go under the lip of the open sunroof, tighten the screws from above and it's on. About a 10 minute install and it really makes driving with the sunroof open enjoyable.
Hey, I was thinking of getting one too but I haven't seen an TL's with one on.....Does anyone have a pic of there car with one on? I like the clean line look of my car and am afraid of how it will look.
Thanks!

I had one on my 2000 TL, and the damage to the paint was minimal, and you would be wise to take it off once every few months for a quick wax to protect against scratches. One thing that is a pain is getting the underside dry after a wash.........since nothing is more irritating then seeing water spots when you look up.
I liked the look on the old TL, and gave it to my wife for her 1999. I am undecided about putting one on my new TLS since I love the lines of the car without it. It is a pretty easy thing to install, and for the 60 bucks they charge you can't go wrong in getting one since it cuts down a bit on the wind noise.
