Sunroof seal

I have a few areas around the seal thats come apart probably due to weathering. Anyway I checked on OEM Acura parts and I saw the seal as a separate item from the glass on the later model TLs but on my second generation its just one piece. Do I have to purchase the full sunroof or is there a part number for the seal on the 2g? I used the search and only saw a 3g TL have that problem and the guys showed him the link for the seal part number. Thanks in advance.

Hey James Thomas, either try your local Acura dealership's part dept. or find a used 2nd Gen in a local salvage yard and get what ya need.

If ya can do your own work, ya can save a bundle by getting the used part .....if it's good.

Sunroof is in good order, probably need to freshen the rubber, kinda brownish color. I've already checked out the threads and looked in my service manual to see how to take the glass out. The pick-a-part only want $30 for it so i'll be saving over $200 from getting a new one. Thanks!

Yeah, condition the rubber seal and clean everything up well before re-installing.
When at the salvage yard, be sure to get any other goodies and misc. hardware parts that ya may need.
