hey

my TLS makes the same noise but I only really hear it when its cold, and the slide piece is in the open position. As soon as I slide the cover and close it the noise goes away. If you get it fixed can you tell me what it was cause if its under warranty I'll get it done to thanks.

FYI,

there is a service bulletin for this.. take it to your dealer or tell them about it on your next service.. they will fix it under warrantly.

They put a teflon tape to help stop the noise..

just about everyone has had this problem before..

bring your car back to the dealer and DEMAND a new one...

if you do a ~search~ on roof rattle, you would have found your answer.

HEY i tried that and yes they gave me a new acura but instead of a tls they gave me the new nsx
any way the sun roof only rattles when the panel is open when its shut its gone but should it rattle in the first place
the panel just covers up the problem, maybe this is the purpose of the panel,
i will take your advice a try to get it fixed
thanks

it's not supposed to happen, ever. i also notice that when the panel is closed it's ok, but hell, then why make a moonroof instead of the sunroof? people (me) sometimes wanna have light coming through but not opening it....

I took mine in for this service, but the problem was never fixed... the silence only lasted for exactly three days and some change hours!

I wish my dealer could have done a real job that's "complete" and "flawless"...
Last time I brought my ride in, they freakin dirtied up the whole freakin roof with black grease!!!! Fusckin azsolez. On top of that, they greased up the panel that sits right under the steering wheel and after I got home that night from pickin up the car, I discovered that my brand new armani $125 casuals has just been ruined by their carelessness!

I did have em clean the whole thing up tho... (was xtremely pissed about it when they did the same thing the second time) Shiztheads... I wonder how the service personel passed for the job...

oh my..... it happened twice? that really sux man..... well the dealer i went to was better. note that i said better, not good... when i got my car back, i noticed that my passenger seat had some stains on it. well of course i asked the service manager to come and see. he was like, "no one would sit here man" and he was like i must be the one who made that...

i was like, "wtf? i don't sit in that seat to drive as well. i know what my car is like and if you think i come here solely for picking these kind of stuff that's a very bad mistake" he immediately asked some guy to clean it up for me..... damn people, talk about customer service.......
