Folks,
I just scheduled an appointment to have my wife's car serviced. Mind you I'm making this appointment more then 1 week in advance!

I requested a loaner car, but was told that they don't give out loaner cars unless it takes more then 1day to service. The kicker is that they won't give you the loaner until the END of the day. So after I drop the car off, how am I suppose to get around!? And I even told the guy it will take them more then 1 day to fix my car (rear window trim bubbling problem)

Any recommendations in the bay area for service? Steven's Creek is actually the closes to me, but everyone says they suck. I'm willing to "travel further" for good/quality service.

Where did you buy your TL from ? If you got it from Sunnyvale, call and b!tch at the GM. My friend did that and he was assured that he will get a loaner everytime he drops of his 04 TL for warranty work.

I went to Los Gatos Acura a few times for warranty work and each time I went I got a loaner. Most of the time I would get a crappy Enterprise Rental car. Oh well ...

Call around and ask.

damn man, my dealer will rent a car for me if they dont have one, and if i dont even want a loner, they will give me a ride anywhere i like, home, work, etc etc.....

Acura of Athens

i even heard one guy on here that said Acura of Athens will drive over to ATL, pick up the car, leave a loaner, and do it all again when the work is complete...

 

Damn bay area dealers! I just called hopkins and they told me the same story!

That's fine if you can get my car back to me in 1 day. But I know and they know it won't be possible if they need to fix the "bubble on the trim" problem amoung other things.

Anyone know of any bay area dealers giving out loaners without being a PIA?

I bought the car from a private party, so no luck in regards to saying "i bought the car from you guys"

 

los gatos acura. stevens creek is just bullshit. sunnyvale i havent been to but los gatos is the one i pick so far.

 

Try the one near South San Francisco in Serramonte...i got good service work there and good customer service......but i dont know if they give out loaners

I have had no issues with Pleasanton Acura. The car has always been ready when promised and they have either given me a loaner or rental when requested. Just do not let them give you the "free" car wash. You get what you pay for...

 

Acura of Pleseanton is the best...they;ll give u the loanerrr with no problem..make sure u go see them next time

 

Acura Carland in Atlanta gives me a loaner EVERY TIME I go in. I have a miata now, as they are replacing my tranny though. Great people over there. Best dealer in Atlanta.
