suggestions for cleaning rims

Just wanted to know what are some good products to shine up the rims???

Car wash solution followed by regular wax.

Most wheel cleaners are good and don't scratch up the finish.

When in doubt, good ol fashioned soap and water.

Having just finished washing my car, I can tell you that Dawn dishwashing liquid does a great job of removing brake dust. I do this first then wash the car with Meguiar's Gold Class car wash and go over the wheels once more.

In anticipation of the "but it strips wax/it's too harsh" flames, know that I've been using Dawn on aluminum alloy wheels for 7+ years without incident.
