Lately my car has been pulling to the right on the highway and even on the city streets and the steering feels loose, like there is play in the steering wheel.

Anyone seen this before or know possible causes?

check ur tire pressure

 

could that account for the loose steering wheel as well?

 

tire pressure, alignment along with a bit of uneven roads. Check the pressure first, that takes only a few minutes...if it still does it after that, go on a straight highway and let go of the wheel, what does it do? It should go straight! if it doesn't, the alignment may be your problem.

 

Hey, appreciate it! BTW- Is there an adjustment for the stiffness of the steering wheel, as far as how easy it turns?

 

for FWD cars the steering certainly will be like that as time goes by...

but i don't know y thou~ =p
