i embarked on this journey almost seven years ago. i can't believe it's been that long. probably five plus years of inaction, but it's all good.

anyways here's my video demonstrating the successful conversion of the 1999-2003 TL/CL navigation system that honda defines as "v2", which others know as the "black dvd".

the car is now capable, and will, run the 2003-2004 MDX navigation unit that honda defines as "v3", which you all call the "orange dvd".

i still need to find a good bracket to hold this thing, and that's why i couldn't plug in the GPS antenna. i will also be wiring in the backup camera and i have everything i need to do it.


i should post a video of my ABS working, but the snow is melting now :/

the guys i went to did a great job. it looks good and it houses the camera module along with the MDX nav unit.

wondering if the canadian navigation mode will give added functionality since the A/C control unit is celsius and not fahrenheit.

this is more awesome than i thought it would be. no clock on the HUD, but it's in the menus lol.

date is stuck at 23 MAY 2004 because i think the MDX sets it elsewhere in the dash.
