Subwoofer in the Back
Subwoofer in the Back
Hi Guys,
I'm new to this forum, so this is my first post.
I have a 2000 Acura 3.2 TL and the sub in the back doesn't seem to work.
At first, I thought it was just a crappy system, but when I cranked the volume up on music with a lot of bass, and touched the free-air sub from the trunk, I felt nothing, not even a sign that it is alive.
I would like to know what can be the problem, and do not know what to check. So far, I've checked the visible connections and wires, but do not know if a separate fuse protects the sub-amp and needs to be checked
Thanks guys.

Second, you might see if the clip where the leads are running to the sub are connected securely. If they are, then you might have to pull out the back seat and take a multimeter to the stock amp to do some trouble shooting. Can't recall the wires right off the top of my head, but I'm dead positive that you can do a search and find all the needed information about the stock amp.
Hope that helped,
Matt
