Stupid Winter

After I just got new HID Fogs last fall... I noticed this the other day.

I filled it with silicon, but I don't know how long it was exposed.
The HID is still working for now, but it's life has probably been shortened.

Sorry to see that. The sillicon is just a temp fix. you got to find a permanent fix, replacing with another one will get cracked again. I guess lexan lens will last a long time, but clarity is not as good as glass. I used clear cling to reduce the impact, but yours was a hard shot there.

I mine cracked the size of a mechanical pencil tip.
I plugged it with hotmelt glue and weldbond 2000 glue lol.
Its held out for 7ish months now - consider also i even live in the super rainy westcoast bc...

Im maybe going to replace it with lexan if i ever go hid...
