stupid vibration!!!!!
HELP!!!! I can't take this anymore!! I put my stocks on and I had a bit of a shake when I drove. I thought it was a balance but we finally found that i had a slightly bent rim. Ok...so I fix that and there is STILL a shake!! UGH! I take it to Acura and they tell me there was a slightly off balance wheel. So now i'm like YIPPIE! it's fixed. HA! it's still there, not as much but it's still there!!!!!!
What else is there? The rims were all checked and balanced, no bent rims. Checked the suspension, FINE! could it be the tire?? I got them about 2-3 weeks ago so they are brand new tires. What are the chances that it's that? Anyone else with a TL-S have a problem??

Find a place that has the Hunter GSP 9700 balancing machine. You'll be surprised how good it works. It'll give you the smoothest ride you can get out of your tire and rim combo. Click on the link below for more info.

Have the same exact problem. And I had my rims checked and tires balanced on GSP 9700, and it did improve my ride, but the shake is still there around 65 - 75 MPH. My rotors were resurfaced when I had 45K service done.
I have seen on this board that someone had the same problem, and it turned out to be axle shafts. I am taking my car for 50K service in 2 weeks (I am servicing it every 5K miles), and hope to get dealer to check it out. Of course, considering my warranty is almost up, they may not find anything, only to stick me up with this during the next (out of warranty) service....

I know Acura checked all the rims and they were all balanced, I think that's why they think it's the tire. How can I tell if it's an axwl shafts? What I'm feeling is if your driving over small grooves. It's not that bad but it's damn annoying!!

I just know that dealer will blame it all on tires and wheels. The only way is to ask them to replace all 4 wheels with wheels off another car that does not have vibration, and drive it. If vibration is still there - is is something mechanical. Just wondering if my dealer will be willing to do that... Will find out in 2 weeks...
