Angry Stupid guy ripped my door panel!!!

I went to Sears to buy a TV today. I have no room in my trunk because of the stereo so I had to put it in the backseat. The retart guy working there takes the TV out of the box and sticks it in the backseat. I go home and theres a tear across my door panel. What a stupid moron. There is no point to go back to Sears and tell them because I'll just waste my time, they'll probably say it was there already. I'm fuming right now. I'm gonna have to buy a new door panel and I'm worried its not gonna match the rest of the interior because my car is a 1996, so there might be a slight color difference in leather. It makes me mad because I treat me car like gold and bad things are always happening to it. Someone just dented my door last week when I went out to eat with my girlfriend. I just put 5 TVs in it and was verry happy and now I have to waste money on b/s stuff like this. How much do you guys think a new panel is gonna run me?

Actually I was gonna go to Acura a buy one direct from them. My door panels are in immaculate condition and if I buy a used one I'll just be in worse shape then now. Its a small rip but its not perfect anymore so its gonna drive me nuts.

I dont even know an upholsterer in Brooklyn. I think Ron knows someone in Brooklyn though. Maybe I'll give him a call.

I'm a little worried about the upholsterer fixing because when they recovered my headrests for the monitors, the leather is a little lighter then the rest of it. Well I'm gonna price the panel from Acura and then speak to Ron and see what happens. Thanks for your help Vic. Your trunk looks dope BTW.

Yikes! You're carrying around a TV in the back seat of your TL? I'll never do that in a million years... rent a $20 U-Haul truck for a day to transport large items with sharp corners.

Sorry, that probably didn't make things any better. My experience with leather "repair" has been less than spectacular. See how much the whole door panel costs, then consider the options.

Yeah, putting that TV back there was a bad mistake. Its funny how I got it out without damaging anything though. That guy was just a moron. Why didn't I make him put it in the front anyway? I wasnt thinking. I'm gonna price the door panel tomorrow and see if its worth it.

Vic, where the show gonna be? Maybe I'll swing by. My trunk is a mess though but the video is all hooked up. Anyway, I seen your box sitting in Ron's shop. You're selling it right? How much do you want for it? My friend might want it.

Heck I wouldn't worry. If Ron can mount monitors in visors and headrests then make it look as good as he does, surely someone will be able to patch a piece of leather on a door panel right?!

remember to ask Tim if he can get the part for you... if he can it'll probably be cheaper than from Acura
