Unhappy Strange TCS noises? Or not?

Since it's snowed here in SE PA, I finally get to try what TCS feels like...but when it activates and the TCS light is flashing, is it supposed to make a slamming noise? I figured it was just the brakes pumping to regulate wheelspin, but I've never heard the brakes make that sound with the ABS or anything...am I worried for nothing? Or is the TCS supposed to be as quiet as everything else? I just bought the car about 3 weeks ago, and had it immediately inspected and had the oil and filters changed and the mechanic said the car was in immaculate condition. But then again, he didn't have the chance to hear the TCS working...somebody...anybody...help???? Any advice as to how to approach this would be greatly appreciated!!! THANX!!!

TCS is supposed to make noises. If it doesn't, that's when you've got trouble. TCS utilizes application of individual brakes and throttle cut-off when it detects wheelspin.

Cool...so that sound is normal? lol...I've never actually heard Traction Control Systems at work before...scared the **** outta me...but I figured if Acura enthusiasts tell me it is so, then I'm glad to relax and not worry anymore. I guess my car is still good...lol...thanx Adrenaline!!!

I had the same thing happen to me the first time, I was pulling out of this scary a$$ intersection and i floored it with the tcs on, it made this really weird noise and I didnt realize it was normal until the next time when my friend told me. Basically its just the sound of the breaks, like PureAdrenaline said as long as its goin yur straight
