I have been hearing this strange noise lately only when I brake from high speeds, from around 10mph untill the car stops. It doesn't quite sound like a normal squeek, but as if though it was coming from my front wheels or something. I had my front brakes replaced not that long ago, so I don't think it's that. And my tires are 2 month old Turanza's.

Also, when the noice comes, it is intermittent and not continuous, almost like the sound of a Jet landing when it touches the wheels.

Does anyone know what this might be?
