Strange phone call with H&R springs
Just got off the phone with H&R , telling them i had a 00TL on OE.75 springs and how come they arent listed for the 02 TL and he says the rear of the 02 TL is different and that the OE wont fit it . they list the 02 sport spring as 50103 and the 00 sport spring with the same drop as 51858 . All other spring companies including comptech list 99-03 as 1 spring with one part #. i dont really want a drop of more than 1 inch, what are you 02-03 guys running?

this has been discussed many many many many times before...
The 50103 is the H&R Sport Spring for the TL. The 51858 is the H&R Sport Spring for the 99 Accord. H&R didn't make a spirng for the 99 TL because they were using the 51858 springs in the 99TLs. People had complained that the rear sagged a bit with the 51858 springs so to fix the problem H&R supplied the H&R Sport spring for the front and the H&R OE Spring for the back ( two different colours, gray rear and black front). H&R corrected this by making a different spring for the TL in '00, the 50103. Still, for some reason H&R reccomends the 51858 for the 99, which is actually the OE rear and the Sport front, however I believe they paint them one colour now.
Long story short, many people have had this conversation and everyone reccomends getting the 50103 springs for the 99-03 TL and TL-S.

yea thats for the sport set up , but i dont want it that low i have the oem kit i usually ride with passengers and i liked the OE drop, so i guess if the oe rear came with the 51858 i can order the or for the front to so i only lower it .75 instead of 1.5 in the front
