So at 61,202 it happened. It was a pita struggling to get off the road but I was able to switch to d4, once it comes to a stop, Roll it backwards with your left leg. It gave the trans enough to get me to a parking lot. I think 540i time before 100k

 

sorry to hear that man. thankfully my failure wasn't nearly as catastrophic. it's a shame really. thankfully you were'nt hurt.
