I have a stock 2000 Tl and I'm the original owner. I have 72K miles on it and have started going to the local street night at my drag strip. I want to start racing my TL and need a few things to be competitive. Any suggestions? I'm looking for reccomendations on exhaust and NOS. Please help!

 

If all you car about is going straight at the strip, and are budget conscious, nitrous is your answer. An exhaust isn't going to do shi+ for you...
$1,000 clams for product and a clean, safe install is about right...Take a look at some shops in your area...Are there any up there? NH???

 

I would get an Icebox and Headers. Maybe not comptech headers cuz they are pricy. But yeah exhaust won't help much cuz the car comes with pretty good exhaust. Although on a regular TL you will see more gains then a TL-S, for exhaust anyway.

 

I got this for $400 INSTALLED. IMO, it's THE BEST HP/$$ ratio mod ever. (sans nitrous)
