stilll have a problem....
ok heres the thing...
i got a new battery because the old one had acid comin outt... the thing is, the old terminals- i duno if thats what you call it but its the round things of the positive and the negative that connect to the battery, looks like it has a lot of acid or rust on it... and i think the sensor doesnt touch correctly because when i open the ring to put in the power wire of my amplifier, the car doesnt turn on... but if i take out the power wire, it works... and hten to test to see if the problem was hte power wire, i turned off the car, touched the power wire of the amp on the battery and turned it on and it truned on... SOo the power wire is not the problem... Do you think i should chnage the terminals or just clean them off??? also, what type should i get if i should change and is it hard to install?? please help me outtt ... its getting cold out i wana fix this problem
thanx guys

Some people recommend using a baking soda/ water mixture but you take a chance of neutralizing the battery acid and making your battery weak if not done properly.
