My TL is stiff as hell, even when I had stock springs and shocks. My old Honda civic absorb bumps in the road better than my TL. Is this how the car is supposed to feel? The car is smooth on finely paved roads, but regular road conditions you can feel the bumps pretty hard and you can hear them too. I don't think i've ever driven a car so stiff before.

 

Since you have a type-s, I believe it is supposed to be firm. Mine is the same way compared to other cars.

Its going to be firm. You can try different shocks that have adjustable dampening and rebound and try to soften it a bit.

 

I see. My honda civic rides like a mercedes benz compared to the TL.
