steering wheel vibration

Hi guys,

I have a 2000 tl that had a wicked front end shake, the suspension is tight, so I just put new tires on and allignment. This cured most of my previous front end shake, but I still have some when I brake from freeway speeds around 30-60 mph. I do have recent brembo rotors on the front with pads (10 k miles), but I am sure now they are warped. My question is when I turn the rotors, do I have to replace the front pads?

thanks,
Jason

I've been in the same position as you and have simply cut the rotors and used the same pads without any issue.

inspect the pads for wear pattern-
check the runout with rotor on car, if you want them resurfaced have it done on the car

How are the calipers? Flushed the brake fluid?

Did you have to break the retaining screws to remove rotor? if those are not flush the rotor can be on there crooked
