Steering wheel is shaking when braking, What's the deal?

Whenever I'm cruising at speeds of about 60 and I brake my steering wheel shakes pretty bad. Anyone else ever experience this?

Probably rotors. Do a search. Lots of info.

Are those covered under warranty?

Should be although according to some of the posts a few dealers have tried to weasle out of it.

Most will turn them, a few will replace them.

Warped rotors just need to be resurfaced. The reason why dealers don't replace them is because they aren't throw aways. There is enough meat on them to turn em. Now if you had several cuts already and the rotor is below spec then you might get new ones, if the tech doesn't find a stuck pad or a hung caliper more then likely its your driving habits... you pay after several cuts.

Just had my brakes replaced by the dealer. $360 for pads, 4 new rotors, etc. Mine weren't under warrenty (53k miles here). I've had my rotors resurfaced several times and they were damn thin when I went in for a brake checkup. They needed it. Be prepared to pay though...

Why would you need new back rotors for? They almost never warp. The fronts do 90% of the braking. should have gotten some crossdrilled and dimpled rotors with some Endless pads.

My 2002 TL/S was doing the same thing @ 21,000. Took it in and they did a complete 4 wheeel brake job with new pads under warranty. But plan on leaving it with them............I was there 4 freaking hours!

The rears were worn pretty bad too. I was thinking about getting performance rotors and pads while I was replacing them but I have a hard time investing $$$ into this car since I don't plan to keep it for much longer. I'll still take care of it though.

That is the same thing I said when they replaced the rear pads/turned the rear rotors on my brothers 2000 AV6. The brakes were squealing like they had hit the wear indicator on the pads we took it in and they replaced only the rears, and the problem was gone...I was like WTF?!? Did Honda go cheap on the rears since they don't do as much work, and they ended up going too cheap?
