Question Steering wheel radio controls...

I have a 03 TLS and after 8 months I have this problem.
Sometimes when I use the radio controls on the steering wheel it gets ****ed up meaning it doesnt preform the correct feature. I push volume down and the volume goes up. I push volume up and it changes tracks or radio stations. The only one that seems to work correctly is the middle button for changing tracks. Has anyone else experienced this??

Thanks in advance.

I haven't had this problem, but have heard that this is an issue in the TL's. It has something to do with it being a short circuit. Take the car to the dealer and have them replace the button controls. It shouldn't take them too long.

good luck with that...

I have, but I have a 99 TL...but is 5 years old, I don't think is right, but it could happen as for you, it sucks since you have a 2003 TL....go to the dealer.

I had it in my TL-S and I took it to the dealer. It was a known problem and they fixed it under warranty without any hassle...

Ok because I was getting worried what the hell was going on. It wasn't like I spilled water all over the car or let it rain in. Thanks guys.

My 02 had the entire assembly replaced, as the dealer recognized it as a known problem. The only thing you should do is make sure the dealer has the piece in stock to replace the wheel controller.

I haven't experienced it, but then again I don't use it much, usually when I have a CD on, I leave it on. *knock on wood...no posessed controls here.
