Steering Wheel Options for 99?

My wheel is nasty on top, leather is cracked and black, and it's not cleanable at all, just takes chunks of leather if I try. I saw in DIY section a guy put a wood trimmed wheel from an MDX in his.

Im sure the CL wheels would work right?
What other cars are compatable with ours?

This way I can be on the look out for a replacement.

the late model RSX wheel works as well. search for member anthraciteCL. i think you can find his progress thread in the CL photo gallery section.

3G TL wheel has been done as well. contact murkyriversTL.

BUT if you want a direct swap, your best bet is to find a wheel from the 2G TL or 2G CL. Both are common on ebay and Black Market and not that expensive.

3g TL steering wheel, but not easy. Someone had it done by a professional and the only feature that didn't work was the cruise button if I remember correctly.
Use search to find him.

I'm interested in doing it as well but with the "H" logo. Maybe Oddysey or Accord steering wheel?

Cool, thanks, I still want all the buttons to work, and the colors to match. I really dig the wood trimmed wheels though. Do 2G TL or CL come stock with em?

RSX steering wheels work, but you'll have to rewire the cruise control.

the wood steering wheels were a factory option. again, you can most likely find them for cheap on ebay and the Black Market.

Any 2nd gen TL/CL wheel will work. I installed a wood type-s wheel with the perforated leather in my 99; found it on eBay.

I did the same except not a type s wheel. Got mine on ebay as well. I still have my original wheel if you're interested. It's in very good condition.

Cool..Ive been looking on ebay, I saw a few black wheels, but I have a tan interior. What color is your wheel? The wood is sweet though..

No, it was pretty easy actually. Just be careful with the airbag and treat it like dynamite. I followed the steering wheel swap instructions in the DIY section.
