steering wheel and foot area vibrations

I just got my car back last week with the new tranny and engine new engine mounts all free under warranty. right when I pulled out the lot and gave it a lil gas the tranny was shiftin pretty hard. Then that went away, after I went on the freeway. Then as I was on the freeway I hit around 70-80mph and I feel the steering wheel vibrate, and the area under the pedals. So my question is, is alignment necessary after a tranny replacement since they have to take out the axles? I kno it could just be wheel is out of balance, but it wasn't outta balance until after they put on the new tranny...should be under warranty since they're most likely at fault ?

id bring it back immediately

And no a alignment isnt necessary the way they are able to do it at teh dealer they dont need to take out the half shafts or touch the hubs in any way, or cause any thing that would need an alignment. Plus an alignment wouldnt cause it to shake. something is wrong and it needs to go back

when u brake, does it vibrate also? try goin from a high speed, not too high and brake a bit harder than usually when u go off the off ramp...if it vibrates even more rotors, if not i would say balance.

I think it's something a little more serious than and alignment or balance. I would definitely bring it back and have them check it out.

I doubt its the rotors, because I just had the rotors desurfaced and had them put on new brake pads from tustin acura because they sold me the car with warped rotors and squeaky aftermarket pads. That was about only 5k ago, the car also pulls to the right starting at 15mph so yea they musta did sumthin because it didn't do that a week ago. oh and looks like they cut the plastic piece under the hood, I cracked the piece trying to get to the battery tie was gonna epoxy it poped the hood and WTF....the white area is where the rest of it used to be, can anyone confirm that? also I found the clamp on the intake loose, what the fudge where they doin dammit....I don't wanna be an ass but damn, can't just go and chop pieces of peoples cars.

yes, that plastic peice is supposed to extend to where the air filter box is. It's definitely missing a big chunk and obviously cracked.
