Make sure it's a sticker... Unless you want an imprint of the calipers on your forehead when the airbag deploys.

to me it just looks like the oem wood grain, with the sticker in the mid.

hey i just thought of this, why not cut a square 3x3 inch piece of silver vinyl or so, enuff to cover the acura logo, and cut around it wit an exacto knife or razor blade, just dont go to deep to scratch it. same effect...hmm imma try that soon.

This is a good idea. Where can you get this type of vinyl?

Could you not just buy the OEM steering wheel piece... it cant be that much! I'm not talking about the whole wheel, just the airbag/horn switch cover!

the air bag is expensive, you're looking at a couple hundred of dollars, just to get an emblem..

Ohh, is that plastic piece part of the airbag? I'm really not sure how the airbag functions. I just expected that to be a cover for the airbag, and that would just flip up and have the airbag inflate. Yeah, if they are 1 piece, then fuck that, its not worth it.

The airbags are not interchangable.

The airbags that have emblems are 2 stage air bags. The ones without are only single stage.

I remember reading here awhile ago that the Acura emblem from the engine cover is a perfect fit for the steering wheel.

However, as mentioned previously, this is a bad idea and a safety hazard.

I was just thinking, how does the cover come apart when the airbag are deployed?

Don't they slpit horizontally? I think they do but don't know where though. Maybe it does not slip under the emblem and the issue will be solved.

Anyone got a picture of the airbag deployed?

I have a sticker one...it cost me $4 to get made. looks identical to that. Check any stores that make custom decals and signs etc.
