Hey guys. I love the look of the 02-03 TL's steering wheels with the big Acura emblem on it, instead of some ugly ass stamp like my 2000. Has anyone managed to put this on an earlier model, if so, where do you get the emblem? Thanks.

 

get it from the front grill and stick it on, there's also one on your engine cover, heat gun that sucker off
or make your own out of aluminum foil. tacky = added horsepower

 

Just get the center piece with airbag from a 02-03

 

The only problem with that is I don't think they made the 02-03 in the "fern" interior color, if they did, I will look into that.

 

Find a u-pull-it type of junkyard and when your there steal the emblem and buy something else cheap so it doesn't look suspicious. Otherwise your out $500 for the airbag assembly, which is def. not worth it.

 

He was talking about just the center plastic piece that is on top (in front) of the air bag.

Whenever I'm driving and turn the wheel so the A logo is upsidedown, I always think it looks like a vagina. ANy thoughts?

is that a 2g TL in the pic? I thought they only had 4 and 5ATs.

 

pretty sure that's a cl-s..unless it's a tl with a 6SPD swap. that person also has some LED work done to the gauges, radio, etc

That's what I was trying to say in my earlier post. You can only buy the emblem with the entire airbag assembly for like $500ish. Best bet is to go to a junkyard and just rip one off when no one is looking.
