Just wanted to ask for an opinion. I have a 2003 TL-P, which I picked up last May. I guess as everyone else I had gotten a year of service from on-star for free, but now it is time to renew it. They are offering coverage for $16.95 a month. I just want to find out if it is worth it. On one hand I am thinking I have a wife who sometimes uses the car to drive my son to school, etc. or just to go somewhere and I would want her to get help ASAP, but then there are always cell phones.

What do you guys think?

 

How often did you use onstar for that year you got free? If none at all, don't. The other question you have to ask yourself is.....do you mind dishing out 17 bucks a month. Its always nice to have but then you can always save 17 dollars a month. I personally would get it because I like everyting to work in my car and always that peace of mind you get from onstar.
