On Star
you sure you want to? It's only neat for the first year...then you have to pay $250 a year just for having the availability of service....plus an additional fee everytime you use it. My parents have it on their mercedes....till this day they have yet to use it.
yah i really wouldn't recommend it. it sounds good in theory, but not all that practical, plus it gets pretty expensive.
i would imagine that retrofitting the car with onstar would cost a fortune. sounds like something that would have to be done by the dealer, and i can only imagine the markup they take on something like that

One of the best features of OnStar is their vehicle tracking in case your car gets stolen. Also in the event your airbags deploy, someone automatically calls your car to make sure you're ok and notifies the police or ambulance. Another great feature is the phone system thats integrated in the cars speaker system. I have it on my 2003 and I think its well worth the money.
