Haha...lifetime warranty. Dude, the lifetime warranty from OBX is the biggest fvckin joke. There is NO WARRANTY on them.

Weld break...not covered
Fitment issues...not covered

There are pretty much no circumstances where OBX will cover the repair or replacement. BEST OF LUCK.

H9806 is the OBX part number for their Accord headers (they also fit the TL).

Has anyone ordered from that site before? Every wheel they have is $100, maybe they're just all cheap wheels?

Yup, from what I've read posted on this forum and others, definitely true.

They offer both ceramic and SS headers.

DO NOT BUY THE CERAMIC ONES. They start peeling immediately.

I dunno why you guys are so surprised that OBX has Stainless Steel headers. They've had them from the beginning ... $380 isn't even that good of a price for the OBX headers. I've seen them quite a few times on ebay for like $325 ... and www.ssautochrome.com which is probably the best place to buy OBX headers (They're a major distributor for both OBX headers and Stone headers) ... and they only want $368.50 ... Check this link ... http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1063

The ones you want are for the 98-02 Accord (9802HonStainless).

Can anyone vouch for this site? http://www.tuningdepot.com/wheellist.asp?size=18

If you can let me know cause I'll jump on the "Version 5" RIMZ which are C5 Knock-Offs faster than you can say "Sweet Rimz!" 400 for a set of RIMZ that looks exactly like C5's is not bad... + tires still not a bad deal...

Yes, headers for the Accord v6 (98-02) should fit the 3.2 CL/TL with no problems. The headers from ssautochrome.com are OBX headers. They don't sell Stone headers on their website, ssautochrome is just the distributor for them ... I know of 2 people that sell Stone headers, both for $400 each. Nashua_Nighthawk is one from Acura-cl.com and I think Austin on hond@cur@world.com (replace @'s with a's) was selling them in a groupbuy at one point too.

cool, thanks, but i think ill end up buying the OBX stainless steel headers from ebay...332 shipped...and i imagine installation is easy enough for a 17yr old with some basic knowlege of screwing and unscrewing...do i gotta remove bumper...are there DYI for this process?

i started this thread because i thought that the ceramic OBX headers were garbage and lasted a short time...i hope that stainless stell lasts longer.

oh man you have a BIG surprise coming to you if you think installing obx headers is easy..........its alot more than screwing and unscrewing....and if you actually looked under the hood of your car you would know that taking off the bumper would have no effect.......

please do us all a favor and take pics so we can get a few chuckles.

i will take pics...so if i mess up, you'll be satisfied.

OMG.....dude its a hell of alot more difficult than you think. Good luck.....hope you dont snap one of the bolts off in your block. BTW...headers usually need about 180 lbs. of torque....lol.....again....good luck.

etxxz: It took my licensed mechanic a good 3+ hours worth of work to get those headers in (it was his first time doing it too). It is not easy as it sounds...you can do it yourself, but make sure you have the right power tools, lots of patience, and download Comptech's installation instructions. IMHO, this is one mod install that's best left to the licensed mechanic.

Hey Patric, you have Stone headers, dont they have a little fitness trouble. Where did you buy em and how much moddin they took to fit?

Listen to this...me and a friend decided to skip school today for watever stupid reason, and guess what...the senior prank i pretty much set up at my house ( got ppl together ) was pulled off today...they Crazy glued ALL the classroom's door locks last night, and then at the last lunch period, a gigantic food fight was started...seniors and the cafeteria people got ketchup, mustard, mayonese and eggs, turned tables over and bombarded the hell outa each other, the DEAN!! (who left school 5 min later crying couse she was soaked in ketchup) and the school PRESIDENT!!! someone called me around 12 to tell me what just went on, and so i rushed to school and found 10000xpolice cars and i wasnt allowed in!!!

right now i'm going to my friend's house, apparently someone has the dean gettin bombarded on tape!!

hehe sorry it was a little off topic but i had to share the experience i just missed!!peace.

The first batch of Stone headers that came out had minor fitment issues. Doesn't mean it won't fit. I got my Stone headers from Nashua Nighthawk Black on A-CL.com. I paid $400 + bit extra for shipping (I'm in Canada). For you in USA, it should be $400 including shipping. From what I've heard, there's a new batch of Stone headers out that have fixed the fitment problems. So you should be OK if you order a set.

Hey etxxz i have a set of stainless ported obx headers. They where used for like a month. This past weekend somebody broke into my car and stole my radio, cluster, climate control, system, aem pulleys, and jumped on the roof and caved it in. I installed the headers on 4/25. They are in excellent condition and i had them ported. Not one scratch on them. I'll let them go for $350 shipped. Comes with gaskets. Let me know

It only takes me like 1-2 hours max to change them. That's pulling off the stock manifolds and down pipe and installing the obx's

My friend has had these same headers on his type-s for 2 years and he has no problem with the mcracking or anything. I'll do $325 shipped if your serious. Only because i had them ported and they are only a week old. They charged me $40 bucks to do the porting so i'am losing out but oh well. As for my car they busted my passenger front window. The car it's done. My insurance salvaged it. Oh well out with the old in with the news
