Post Stain on hood

I was washing the car and I saw some yellow stuff the size of a dime on the hood. So I clean it, but the upper layer is gone but now their is a faint yellow spot. It looks like a cigarette burn. It doesn't want to come out. I need help to remove this spot.

I would try mother's scratch remover. I've had really good luck with it.

try to compound/polish it out, if that doesn't work, it may be time to test your touch up paint skills.

good luck!

dont ever use rubbing compound on your paint, that yellow thing is residue left over from the bird crap, that is often yellow...that thing somehow goes away after a couple washes...for now, i would say just go over it with some wax or polish thats about it... or bug and tar remover...

Hey tell your friends next time to keep it in the bedroom, you don't want any more stains on your car.
