SRS light--warranty update

Okay guys, I took my TL in after the SRS light came on and I promised I would post what happened at the dealership.

Cause: Faulty OPDS sensor

I have no idea what it is, but they replaced it and gave me a loaner RSX for 2 days.

They lost my airvent air freshner. That kind of gets me mad. That's plain sloppy IMO and an extra hassle. I don't know if it's even worth going back to talk to them. I get the feeling it won't solve anything or get me money to buy another one. Dayum.

Btw I had it done at Stevens Creek Acura. I suppose i'll just mail in a poor review to corporate since i have one of those "How did we do" surveys they send out once in a while.

So does the warranty cover what ever was up with the light? And referring to the "lost" product, hey at least its not a Domestic Car. My mom has a Grand Caravan and when she got it back from Dodge, they took one of her CD's and ten dollars worth of quarters she has in her car...how chicken **** is that...

Yeah, warranty covered both the replacement of sensor and the loaner car.

That sucks that your mom had a CD and money stolen. That's real shiesty. Geez, you can't trust anyone these days.

Remember to remove all valuable items from your car before any service! Don't tempt those guys with your toys.
