Red SRS light came on tonight driving home in the rain. Of course, I'm @ 53k, so before I zip over to the dealer & am told to grab my ankles....

Any experience with this? What I might expect to hear? What BS I should be wary of?

I don't trust the service dept here in CLeveland (Motorcars Acura) and would appreciate any insight before I go.

Mines on but I'm at 13.8k miles. Mine came on a couple weeks ago, I'm a lazy bastard. Its a common problem I think, Acura should still fix it! Maybe since you're only over by 3000 miles they'll hook you up.

My SRS red light just came on today. I'm heading to the dealership tomorrow or day after to ask about it. I'll let you know what they say. btw, i have 23K miles on mine.

 

my TL is at 22K and i have the same problem. my SRS light went on a couple weeks ago. i called up Rallye Acura and apparently there was a recall for this malfunction. if u take it back to ur dealership they should take care of the problem for you for free.

 

Mine came on at 18,500 miles. I had it fixed at the dealer but they didnt say what triggered it. They said if it went back on bring it back and they would replace something. Its been about a month and nothing yet.

 

mine came on 12k miles..they replace the passesage side SRS sensor that under the sit for free.
