hi, my SRS light came on in my 2000 TL.. should I ignore it or pay money to get it fixed?

 

If you are in an accident where the airbags could possibly save your life, do you want them to come out? Or do you want to be injured worse, or even killed?

Go to the dealer and have the code pulled.

there is a sensor that goes bad-
call acura at 1-800-382-2238x5 confirm your VIN number is part of the extension-
then take to dealer immediatly

my transmission was replaced by the previous owner so i'm okay. i've got a ownerlink account already and the srs light thing didn't show up in the warranty link, only the trans stuff, so do i still qualify?

 

Its not listed- I had to ask if there was anything I needed to know about my car when I called the 800 and they looked it up
There are several secret repairs the 800 number knows about

Your recall page should say: recall 6/04 Fixed and Trans extended warranty OPEN
Good to start off with a replaced trans- and depending on mileage you may still have more coverage too~
