my srs light is on..what could be the cause of it?....i know its not anyone leaning over the side air bag....im not sure when it came on.but its not turning off...should i give it a few days to clear or should i take it to the dealer to check it out?

oh..btw i just changed to a different dealer recently...denvile acura....anyone have any opinions on them?

 

Go in and get it serviced if the SRS is on your airbags are disingaged..i had the same problem ..along with many others ..some say it is caused by newly installed aftermarket electronics..i installed some neon lights under the foot wells and the next day the srs was on...i took it in and it turned out to be the seatbelt harnes ..which is a common problem. there is a sensor in the harnes for the srs..they replaced the harnes and the light has not returned....the light will not go out on its own it has to be cleared from the computer and disconecting the batery does not work...good luck...

by the way the "along with many others" wasnt many other problems it was that other members where having the same problem....

 

Have it checked out at the dealer. I have seen Srs lights on for too many reasons to list.
