Anyone has SRS light problems. My SRS light was on last week, it took the dealer three days to fix it, they replaced the SRS unit, and OPDS sensor. He claimed that my door sill neon lights may cause interference with the SRS unit. I have the neon Acura lights on four door sills for about six months, and there are two other TL owners have them for six months also ( I know because I installed for them), and they don't have this SRS problems. Now, I have SRS light comes back on only 3 days after the dealer fixed it.

The problem occurs whenever there is a passenger sitting in the passenger seat, first the yellow passenger air bags lights up first, then after a while the red SRS lights up.

The dealer told me that Laptop, cell phone may also cause interference with SRS unit. So we are not suppose to use cell phone or laptop in the car. Does it sound right, interference?

The dealer will tell you anything to make you pay.

 

My SRS light came on several months ago. They also replaced the OPDS or whatever it's called sensor.

Light never came back on. Don't let them tell you that B.S. Tell them they need to fix it.
