I have 1999 tl and...
my SRS light came on the other day...
i checked the fuse...it's ok....
anybody know what i should check next?
is there another fuse i need to check?
i have a vtec controller and cai installed..
so i kinda want to avoid going to the dealer just for a light...

 

Have dealer check it for you....
It's not just a light......it's problem with SRS system.... I am sure it can be cover under warranty (not sure what your milage is though)

 

Bring It Back To Dealer I Had The Same Problem On My Car They Will Reset It For You

 

I would highly rec. you go to the dealer.There is no easy way to reset this system or diagnose it's problems without specific info about it.Pulling fuses will not clear the memory as it is nonvolatile and will remeber till told to forget even if you disconnect the battery.
The most likely source of trouble on these early cars will be the safety belt latch.This will probably be covered since Acura offers lifetime warranty on all safety belts.It is unlikely that the installation of your vtec controller will have an effect on the srs system sincew none of the wiring you need for that are part of the srs system.
