Squeaky sunroof....still???
Okay well Acura first applied the squeak resistant tape about 2 months after purchasing the car. Noise disappeared for about 3 months.
Noise came back after the 3 months, different acura dealer removed the gutted job that the first dealer did, cleaned up all the crap from the outline of the roof, and re-applied it cleanly around the roof again.
2 months later...that's right you guessed it, f*cking squeaking is back.
Is it just me or is something else possibly wrong with the roof???
I'm gonna give acura one more chance to re-apply the tape, after that, I'm gonna raise some hell. In the meantime, could it be anything in the mechanism of the roof causing this problem???

take some vassilene to the rubber seal on the moon roof. (if its the moon roof that squeaks) it will work and it works well. if its not the rubber seal itself its the headliner that mos have issues with

what exactly is the headliner??? Is it the part where the sunshade inside the car slides into???
I also have a very very minor rattling in the area where the light is. It's only noticeable once in a while though.

Well I have the same problem too and on my next oil change I will raise some hell about it because I had a sunroof on my Maxima SE for almost 8 yrs and never a hint of rattle or nothing, Btw, tape was applied(1st time) and lubricant (2nd time) still no fix. The problem is in the seal itself that is too small and it doesn't seal properly. Also mine is only doing it at around 60 to 65 mph and no other time.
The headliner was doing it and they fixed that one (lucky shot).
Oh! and did I mentioned the darn seat?
Other than that the car is tight like a drum, no other rattles.

sadly .. this is a problem that has 'plagued' Honda for about 5 years now ... and you can see how quick they were to actually fix the problem .. blahhhh ... just gotta live with it .. all a part of being part of the Acura family

I had a sunroof rattle. No the moonroof bu the sunshade - rattled unless it was completely closed. Took the car in for the tensioner recall and told them about the rattle. Tech went for a ride with me and confirmed the rattle.
They took the headliner out and actually fixed the problem. No teflon tape was used. No more rttle regardless of the position of the sunshade. Unfortunately the car would not cooperate on the dash rattle and a intermittent "blip-blip-blip coming from the right rear interior - "no trouble found".
