Ok, I know there has been tons of threads on rattling and squeaks in our TLs. I did a search and found it too much to go thru all of them to find my answers. Recently with my HU being replaced, I been turning my music off. Usually my music is so loud that I can't hear the rattling and squeaks. I notice that there were so many rattling and squeaks in my car. Can I take it into the dealer even if I have no idea where they are coming from? The only rattle I know for sure is from my moonroof. Also I saw in some threads that they won't fix the squeaking from my seat? Thanks all.

 

for the seat, just get some wd-40 and spray it where u buckle it.

 

After almost 2.5 years of ownership I finally got all the squeaks out. I had them coming from the sunroof, driver's door, and seatbelt buckle(s).

At first I was getting rattles from the sunroof until they put in the teflon tape then I noticed it was also rattling when the roof was fully opened while driving over rough surfaces. The whole sunroof tray was replaced.

The weather seal from the top corner of the driver's side door when driving over rough surface was rattling. They applied silicon grease on the rubber. The silicon spray another dealer put on just didn't last.

Taking your car to a dealer where rough roads can be found nearby will help them find your squeaks.
