Squeaks

I am starting to get mad. I have to take my car in for the driver seat squeak AGAIN and now I have a rattle in the dash. What the hell. I also posted a pic of me and my buddies bikes. Mine is the far left bike. The R1.

I know what you mean... my car is at the dealer today having the rattle in the front center cosole, rear console, and sunroof looked at... also having security siren replaced, dashboard vent fixed, and drivers seat (rocking back and forth).

It must be just my car... but overall, still very happy w/ it...

but i do agree... What the Hell!!!

Driver's side dash squeak

Hello,

The driver's dash of my TL-S is squeaking also. It
happens 3 days ago when I took my car to dealership
for A/C repair. It
sounds like some rubber is rubbing each other.
It does not seem to be seat belt rattle cos' squeaking
nose comes from the front dash. Anyone has experienced
the similar problem and knows the fix?

Regards,

-- william

My car is in the shop right now for my new transmission.

While in there they're looking at my sunroof rattle and seat squeek.

This is the 3rd time that the car is in for the driver seat squeeking. They've replaced the seat rails twice already... I don't know why this keeps happening, it's not like I'm fat and am breaking them because of extra weight... my car only has 17,400 miles on it.

Oh well, I can't complain too much, the dealer never complains about fixing it and it's always covered under warranty.

Thumbs up

Hey! I know that place! That's Mt. Soledad looking out towards La Jolla, and UCSD

What are some good driving roads out here?? I like to just cruise up and down PCH to oceanside, from La Jolla. I also went on some extremely twisty road called Pomerado or something similar. It was not the one by Scripps Ranch, but somewhere north of RB.

Yes you are right. If you like to drive the twisty roads go to Palomar Mountain that place is fun to drive. I go there on my motorcycle every Sunday. Where do you live? I am in Vista. Maybe we should hook up for a curse. Or get all the Southern Cali people to come to S.D for a BBQ. What do you guys think?

Right on, those GSXR's are fast as hell. You will have to post some pics when you get it. When you get a chance check out this site. It is for motorcycles and it kicks ass. Also check out the message board on that site. My user name on there is R1_abuser.

Took my car to Park Avenue Acura and they fixed my seat rocking back and forth and squeaking along with the seat belt buckle. No its time to find a mystery squeak that sounds more like a clicking sound like when you push in and pop out a little dent in a plastic soda bottle. I can't tell where its from but somwhere on the passenger side door dash or window. A bit of advise, the experts at Acura told me that those shiny dash glazes and protectants leak into the joints of the vinyl and make more squeaks. Leather to. I gotta find a no squeak formula! LOL
Please do post the cause of your noises if the dealer finds what was causing it.
