Squeaking TL-S problem solved...

This morning, late last night, my townhome was burglarized. They stole a bunch of stuff from my downstairs while my wife and I were sleeping upstairs. I guess I am a pretty sound sleeper. My keys and wallet were downstairs, so they took that and stole the TL-S out of the underground parking garage. I guess it was only one dude, because he also took my truck keys, but it is still there.

If my car is not recovered, I wonder if I will replace the TL-S or buy another car that squeaks too.

I'm glad the springs are sitting at the suspension shop. I haven't had time to bring the car over for the install. Brand new unused comptech springs bought from Tim may be for sale soon.

Damn, this is not what I expected from your topic. I hope you get your baby unharmed. Glad to hear you guys are ok.

Oh man that sucks you better install some security devices in your place. Hope all goes well with everything .

PS, why so many happy smilies? Your $30,000+ new car is gone and your home was robbed and your glad you didn't install your $300 springs? I guess your trying to keep a positive outlook huh..

The problem is that I have a mean temper. If I didn't use the happy smiles, I'd be using a lot of middle finger gestures. But you guys aren't the bad guys so why take it out on you?

I've been in the gas station business for the last 12 years. I didn't have a single incident for 10 years. 2 years ago, I was robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight walking from a gas booth to my car. On 9/11, the day of the terrorist attacks, one of our convenience stores was robbed at gunpoint that evening. A month later, another one of our stores was robbed at 3 in the afternoon...again with a gun. These stores, just like my home are in nice neighborhoods. For those of you familiar with the San Fernando Valley here in Southern California, I am talking about Woodland Hills and Tarzana.

Believe me, I am freaked that someone was in my house, and I already had the door reinforced and an alarm system installed.

I'm just not shocked.

I hear you, it's a crazy a$$ world we live in I could only imagine crime increasing with the way the economy is doing. It's gone up here in NYC.

Good call on the security additions to your home. Is your wife OK with everything. Hopefully the additional security will make her feel a little more secure. Having one's car stolen is one thing, but having a robber in your home while your sleeping is a whole different story

Keep your head up and be carefull.
