When I drive my 99tl, I here a squeaking noise. It sounds like it is coming from the front of the car, on the passenger side. Almost like somehting is loose in the consol.

This ever happen to anyone else?

 

It might be your seat cushion. Mine has done that on occasion.

 

My 99's freakin armrest is driving me nuts

I have to put pressure on it to stop the squeaking.

 

My 99's armrest is soooo annoying also.. This last weekend I opened it up and tightened every philips screw in there and it didn't help I will have to get some of that foam tape and just tear it apart!!

 

Take it to the dealer and get a new latch. If your out of warranty, it can't cost more than a few bucks (yea right).

They replaced it for me under warranty and it hasn't squeaked since.

 

My car squaks and rattles all ova the place! The worst is the back seats. Ever since I got my springs installed my back seat has rattled and squaked I have a 2000.
Went to the dealership and they fixed my sunroof rattle.
I've just recently been getting squaky seatbelts

 

Just by chance, if you haven't found your noise yet, open your glove compartment and check the phillips head screws that hold the fuzzy liner to the actual box. There are about 4 screws.

The one in the top right corner of the box was loose on mine and just about drove me nuts looking for it.
