does anyone's seat squeak?? The back pan of the seat suddenly started to squeak each time i brake or accelerate, how can i fix it

 

I had my TL only for 2 months. My seat squeaks too. I felt the noise come from seat belt holder area. Yes, it is happened when I drive on an uneven road or suddenly start or stop. The problem happened RANDOMLY. I brought to dealer once, but no squeaks happened when the mechanic drove it. So they did nothing, but told me to keep an eye on it.

I also felt it is weather-related or body-weight-related. What a poor quality.

 

It's not the seat, it is the seat belt holder. I spraid some wd40 on and around the bolt areas and it went away. When i brought it in to the dealer for an oil change i had them repair it.

 

Im having the exact same problem took it to the dealer thursday for an oil change, had them check it and they claimed the female coupler on the seat belt base was loose funny thing is the problem is still there. I only weigh 175 so dont weigh alot by any means. Maybe ill try wd40 or silicone spray, any idea on where to spray it?

 

I have the same problem with my 99 TL. I brought it to the dealer and they have some parts on order I think they said seat frame. Its definetely an issuse for us TLers.
