Post Springs, Sways, AEM CAI installed!!!

Wow...anyone thinking about taking the first steps...DO IT!!! I just got my H&R OEM springs, Comptech Sways, and AEM CAI installed today. My car feels like a brand new machine (only 5000 miles)!

Springs: Drop is very conservative. I'm sorry but I didn't take pictures of before..but I'll take pictures of the after. Immediately the ride is ALOT more stable. The bumps are definitely felt more, but in general, it seems I can "feel" the road.

Springs/Sways: Took a right hand turn at an intersection at about 25-30...no/miminal body roll. Also, the nose diving when braking hard is gone. When I bought the TL, thats the first thing I noticed about the car, and hated. The car felt like it lifted and dived heavily. This has completely disappeared.

AEM CAI: Man...its like you hit a switch at 4500 RPM and the TL turns into a freakin monster. I really never noticed the VTEC kick in, but after the CAI, its like night and day. I can't really say if it feels faster or not, but I do notice there is a pick up at the high end. Below 4500 RPM, its pretty quiet.

I still can't get over how much of a difference the springs/sways make. The wheel gap has been minimized (its still there, but the 18's will take care of that), and most importantly the nose dive/lift is gone.

Of course, all the parts came from Tim. Don't hesitate to order from this guy. And yes, he has some of the best prices around...don't believe us...find out for yourself.

Sorry for the long post, but right now, I'm a pretty happy TL owner

Wink

Hey Jae, if you really want to notice what the AEM CAI does for your car you have to be going at high speeds. That is when it really kicks in the most. I would say around 60+ MPH, and the faster you go, the more cold air it will be gettin, the better it will run .

Just a though..

for CAI, you have to take off the bumper in order to take out the resonator and insert the filter. warranty isn't voided unless Acura can find cause that the intake was the cause of the problem.

You do not have to remove the front bumper. You can just peel back the inner fender well cover to get access as the included instructions describe.

He's right. The shop didn't take off the bumper, but they took the front wheel off to get underneath.

Headers...maybe after some rims.
