Springs and Shocks
Hey there,
I have had Ground Control coilovers on my 1999 TL for about a year now and I don't really like the ride on them plus I think there is something wrong with them and since they are covered by warranty (or should be... still talking with Ground Control), I was thinking of getting a new setup.
There seems to be a bias in the forumns for Comptech or H&R, but I have always heard that Eibach makes really good springs especially for the price. My plan was to get the Eibach Pro Kit with Koni Yellows (which I have heard are awesome).
Does anyone have this steup and if so how is it working out for you?
Does this sound like a better setup or does anyone have suggestions?
Thanks for the help!
Eric

if you're going to spend the cash for springs and shocks, may I suggest you spend the few extra dollars and go straight to coilovers?
Eibach Pro-Kit Springs: $207.81
Koni Yellows: Front pair: $278.61, rear pair: $278.61
Total Cost: $765.03
Tein SS coilovers: $925
these are all prices from here...but you might find cheaper prices elsewhere
Plus, with full coilover systems you have height and dampening adjustability.

i just put on on some eibach pro-kit springs with 19 by 8 konig holes and it looks nice ill post it in a couple of weeks after my new paint job. it needs it, but the springs is great except for the back. i have to bend my rear fenders since i got a system in it which makes it really low on the back....it rubbing my back tires

i was in the same position . . . i ended up goin wit the full tein ss because the price of getting shocks and spring is equivalent to getting the full tein and i think you get more out of it having 16 way adjustable struct and adjustable height.
i only had it for couple dayz and i love them . . no complaints at all
