Post Springs or Kit....

I'm looking to put either springs or factory ground kit on the TL. My delimmea is Laguna green is discontinued and I fear if I wait too long they won't have any kits in that color. I also want springs, specially after putting the CL-S wheels on and hearing Shoof had no problems with the comptech. Decisions, decisions....

I would d the kit first, especially if the color is going to be discontinued. The springs will always be available.

Plus you may want to see what your clearance is with the kit without springs before deciding if you want a further drop. Just being cautious.

Oh yeah hit Snook up for the kit; prepainted and cheap.

I had Neuspeed springs b4 I got my ground control coilovers. Springs change the look of the TL alot, enough to turn a few heads. But now that I have a drop and a bodykit, I turn heads left and right.

I would recommend springs; they will lower the car and your handling will be improved. If you still think the car sits high, then you can bet the ground effect kit.
But if you put the kit on first, the wheel well space won't change and the proof is in the picture.

If it wasn't for me seeing a TL with a kit I would have never bought it. After u get the kit decide how low u wanna go and u might decide to go lower with coilovers rather than springs.

If i were you i would definitly get the springs next since you already have the cl-s wheels.
I got my Comptechs about a month ago and my kit should be coming soon.

get the kit first.... trust me on this. Your car looks about 2 times better with springs...but 200 times better with a kit.

I agree, the roads in NC are not as good as I would like, the underside of the bumper already has been scraped 3 times.

If anything, I would get Koni adjustable shocks and eibach springs (lifetime warranty), coilovers are too much and are meant for the track.

They detract from the ride of the TL.

Get the kit first. It changes the looks more dramatically, plus then you can see how much clearance you will have if you debate over springs or coilovers.

Under Body Kit/Rear Wing Spoiler/26 Piece Wood Grain Console/BurlWood Shift Knob/30% Smoke Tint/Comptech Sways & Springs/02 Tails/Altstadt I's on order

I got my WW kit first... I wanted to see if i needed a drop. Well... I did. I got the comptech springs and to this day I love the way my car looks and rides(besides the fact that I already ripped off my front lip on the freeway and had to buy a whole new one and get it painted=[...)

I agree with Mr Hyde... the springs will be available "forever" while the body kit in your color may not be.
