Which is better in performance and which is more lowered? Comtech or H&R?

Just got my H&R, lowered very nicely, handles like a gem. I heard that they were better than comp, and it provided for a better ride, and lower drop! Also, about $100 cheaper!!

I think you will be fine with either one... Your shocks are gonna wear out even with the Comptech. So, if you want more drop, go with H&R, or you can stick with Comptech...

I won't just get the spring, bebause I need the ground clearance during the winter up here in Canada... And since I don't have snow tires and running on 225/55/16 high performance All-season. I will get coil-overs...

Oh one more thought... if your car is lease... and the lease is ending soon... I say the heck with just get the spring and put the stock ones back when you return you car...

just my $0.02

Me too!! They are designed for the TL and the H&R are made for the Accord.

does the rake look funny though with the comptech springs? I still debating... between the h&r and comptech springs. Also the comptech stuff is like $100+ more expensive than the h&r springs.

I believe the Comptech's were specifically engineered of our car, each spring has a specific place...

Thumbs up

I had my comptechs on for about 1 1/2 months and it is great. It does not give you the "rake" look and Comptechs are geared towards Acura. Even the crew who installed my springs were really impressed with them. And the ride is great.

Mods on:
-Comptech springs
-WW flush mount spoiler
-More to come....

okay so I might be converted... Why are the Comptechs better. They are like 100 buck more expensive than Eibachs or H&R. I met with some CL guys today and it is either way on the springs. Some guys had done coilovers and others had comptechs.

Comments please....

needs to be lowered soon (big wheel gap), maybe H&R Sport Springs?

i think Comptech is better because it is designed to work with the stock Shocks and it wont wear it down faster than the any other brand.

I used to have H&R OE springs. I swapped to Comptechs since H&R didn't lower the TL right. The front was slightly higher than the rear. This is due to the fact that H&R is designed for Accords which weight considerably less than TL.

Comptechs are designed for our TL's. Each spring is marked with which location to be installed on (Right Rear. Left Rear, Right Frong, Left Front). I think the extra $100 was worth it, IMHO.
