Spring/Shock mating question

Okay, here's the situation. I have comptech springs and sways on stock shocks and while I'm happy with the performance, it does result in a lot of bounce when the road is uneven so I'm considering switching to Koni's or Tokico's.

My questions are as follows:

1. To those who went Comptech/stock shocks -> Comptech/replaced shocks, was there a noticeable reduction in bounce? Was it eliminated completely?

2. Since the rear drop in comptech is not that aggressive, would there be any benefit to just replacing the front shocks?

3. and MOST IMPORTANTLY for those with adjustable shocks, I know that stiffness is affected but does the ride become more bouncy on softer settings?

Comptech Springs on Illumina Struts. Reduction in bounce and a "more controlled dampening".

Softer settings do not result in a more bouncy ride. It's not as firm but by no means "Bouncy".

Thanks. That's just what I needed.

As a followup I wonder if Tokico Blue's correspond to an equivalent setting on the illumina's? Somewhere in the middle of the range?
