Improving Radio recption on TL-S

I have done a search on "signal boost" but have not found anything definite about improving the tuner's reception.

Is there a specific brand of signal booster/ amplifier we can use to enhance the reception of the factory tuner, or maybe a good replacement antenna?

Also, did anyone notice that if driving in an area where there are power lines, the radio gets a "hum" and if in AM, the signal fades.

When you have a cell phone and are connected on a call, some interference on the radio can be heard (bleeping noises) over the speakers.
