Spring rates?
Spring rates?
I'm in the final throes of deciding what to do with my suspension on my just-acquired TL-S. Wanting to stay fairly mild, the three most likely options are...
H&R OE Sport springs
Comptech springs
Ground Control coilovers
The Ground Controls are a few $ more but that's ok because I could dial them in to *exactly* where I want them. Ideally I'd have 1.0-1.25" drop in the front and .75-1.0" in the rear. This is close to the specs for the OE Sports, but not exactly.
Anway, I'd like to firm it up a bit from stock, but avoid a harsh ride at all costs. Thus I'm trying to compare spring rates for the above options. The archives seem to indicate that the order they are listed in above is about the stiffness ranking as well. The GCs would be my first rate but most comments seem to indicate that the Eibach springs they use are the stiffest of the bunch.
Any/all data appreciated!
