Spring placement for the Sunglass holder
Spring placement for the Sunglass holder
This is an odd request, but I bought a replacement map light and im going to swap out my map light thats in my TL with the woodgrain for this one because one of the light buttons fell out. I can take the sunglass holder off an on no problem,as I was taking it off and checking both sides, I didnt see that there was a spring that makes it closes/open the spring is intact and what not but I dont know how its placed so it can close/open as it should.
I can take mine out of my car but I dont want to end up with 2 sunglass compartments that dont open. It seems simple but I spent an hour or two mastering the art of getting the compartment off and on with ease, and another tinkering with the spring...now im curious to whether the auto dim on the mirror works (likely not)
If any one can help, it'll be much appreciated. I can post pics if needed also

strange, I cant edit my original post. Long story short I only bought the new dome light because I wanted the button that had popped out, I realized I could just slide the new button into my existing headlamp and all is good.
